Thanksgiving/Holiday or any Occasion Easy Appetizer

One of my favorite appetizers to make for Thanksgiving and Christmas is this yummy Clam Dip. This recipe is easy, delicious and a huge hit for any Holiday, or party. 2 cans clams drained
1 pint sour cream
1 8oz softened cream cheese
minced garlic
salt & pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients and 
serve with ruffles

Dr. Oz Teeth Whitening Home Remedy

I've tried this several times and yes it does work! 

 1/4 cup of baking soda + lemon juice from half a lemon. Apply with cotton ball or q-tip. Leave on for no longer than 1 minute, then brush teeth to remove. #droz

Do it yourself Toothpaste

DIY Toothpaste recipe 

3 Tbs Coconut Oil 
3 Tbs Baking Soda 
25 drops Peppermint oil 
1 packet of Stevia 
2 tsp Veg Glycerine 

Mash together Baking soda & Coconut Oil Mix in all other ingredients to form a paste. Store in a Jar and dip your toothbrush in when you want to use.

Dieter's fat burning Tea

I began making, and drinking this tea a couple of months ago. I brew enough for the week and store it in mason jars in the fridge. I find that loose green tea works the best for this recipe, because it is more potent than bagged tea.

Brew one large pitcher of loose leaf green tea. Pour into five mason jars then add a tsp, or more of fresh squeezed lemon juice, 1/2 tblsp of ground turmeric, squeeze of honey, and a dash or two of cayenne pepper. Depending on how spicy you like it....you can drink it hot or cold. I personally enjoy it cold, but either way is yummy. CHEERS  :)

All natural homemade vitamin water recipes

I have been making these homemade vita waters and drinking them daily. They help with detoxing, bloating, boosting energy, and metabolism. They are also very tasty, and refreshing! 😋


Sassy water

1 gallon water
2 sliced lemons
1 sliced cucumber
Minced fresh mint

Combine all ingredients in a gallon of water and steep over night in the fridge. Drink one glass a day.


Apple, cinnamon water

1 gallon water
2 sliced red apples
1 bag of cinnamon sticks

Combine all ingredients in a gallon of water and steep over night in the fridge. Drink one glass daily






Ultimate belly deflating fix

1 gallon water
Rosemary
2 sliced lemons
1 sliced cucumber
Watermelon

Crockpot Groupies: The Best Tortilla Soup!!!

The best crockpot tortilla soup recipe you will ever have! Been making this one for years after I discovered this mouth watering recipe in a cook book called Fix it & Forget it. You will love it!!! www.fixitandforgetit.com #fixitandforgetit





Tortilla soup makes 6 servings
4 chicken breasts halves
1 garlic clove, minced (I use 6-10 cloves)
2 Tbsp. margarine
2 141/2-oz. cans chicken broth
2 141/2-oz. cans chopped stewed tomatoes
1 cup salsa (mild, medium, or hot, whichever you prefer)
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1 Tbsp., or more, ground cumin (I use 2.5 Tbsp.)
8oz. monterey jack cheese, cubed
sour cream
tortilla chips
 1. Cook, debone, and shred chicken (I boil & shred 3 boneless, skinless, chicken breasts)
 2. Add minced garlic to margarine in slow cooker. Saute.
 3. Combine all ingredients except cheese, sour cream, and chips.
 4. Cover. Cook on Low 8-10 hours.
 5. Divide cubed cheese among 6 individual soup bowls. Ladle soup over cheese. Sprinkle with chips and top each bowl with a dollop of sour cream.

Thanksgiving Pumpkin Cheesecake Recipe

I love baking during the Holidays! For many years I have been trying out different pumpkin cheesecake recipes to bake for Thanksgiving. After many years, I have finally found the ultimate Best Pumpkin Cheesecake recipe...so once again I will share a "Good Thing" Enjoy! #thanksgiving #recipes #dessert #pumpkin #cheesecake



Pumpkin Cheesecake


2 (8 ounce) Cream Cheese
½ cup white sugar
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 eggs
1(9inch) graham cracker crust
½ cup pumpkin puree
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pinch ground cloves
1 pinch ground nutmeg
(optional) whipped topping of your choice

 

Directions


Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Blend in eggs one at a time. Remove 1 cup of batter and spread into bottom of crust; set aside.

Add pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg to the remaining batter and stir gently until well blended. Carefully spread over the batter in the crust.

Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until center is almost set. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight. Cover with whipped topping before serving.

*Depending on your oven I usually bake it 40 minutes then add an additional 20 minutes. You can check it with a toothpick
